Back to the Land Experience

Our Retreat is continuing to develop a variety of organic vegetable gardens,   perennial edible gardens, fruiting shrubs, vines and trees and has access to locations where wild edibles grow.

We offer educational sessions where guests can be educated on and experience the seasonal cultivating, planting, nurturing and harvesting of these site grown foods. With today’s predominately urban/suburban lifestyle, so many people are becoming detached or have never experienced the beauty and magic of personal family food production. We offer opportunities to enjoy educational, experiential sessions to observe first hand how these food growing activities are carried out. Join in and get involved for a while if you wish.

On site , we also have goats and chickens which provide folks of all ages with the joy of watching and interacting with these interesting animals. The kids especially also love our cats, who are friendly and love to be petted.
